Trevor Allen is a highly experienced planning professional with more than 29 years’ experience delivering development approvals and strategic planning outcomes across New South Wales. Trevor has been working with de Witt Consulting for the past two years. A Member of the Planning Institute of Australia, Trevor holds qualifications from the University of Wollongong and has worked across both the private sector and government, including senior roles within the former NSW Department of Planning and Environment’s Major Projects team and as Section Manager at Port Stephens Council.

Trevor has extensive experience managing State Significant Developments, renewable energy projects, major infrastructure, residential subdivisions and rezonings under the NSW planning framework. He provides strategic advice across scoping reports, EIS and REF documentation, development contributions, voluntary planning agreements and post-approval management, as well as representing clients in the Land and Environment Court. Known for his practical, solutions-focused approach, Trevor works closely with clients to navigate complex approval pathways and achieve confident, timely outcomes.
