Having previously obtained an approval for this education facility, de Witt Consulting were engaged to prepare a Review of Environmental Factors (REF) was prepared to consider environmental impacts of the proposed upgrade of the existing sewer system on site with the construction of a new sewer rising main to connect to the new development. The reticulated sewer network was designed in accordance with Hunter Water requirements to connect to the Hunter Water sewer network. The REF considered issues such as tree clearing, soil management and noise within the university campus. Appropriate environmental management measures were provided in the REF to assist through development phase.
