de Witt Consulting performed and managed in a major project development approval process for a 62 Lot Residential Subdivision under the previous Part 3A Major Project provisions in the EP&A Act 1979. de Witt’s involvement extended beyond just the Planning component to the overarching project management and delivery of this site. de Witt Consulting managed all of the various sub consultants including civil and traffic engineers, flora, fauna, bushfire consultants. This project required negotiation with State Government Authorities such as the Roads and Maritime Services and Hunter Water Corporation as well as Local Government.
de Witt Consulting were further involved with Project Managing the detailed design and construction phase including engagement of civil contractors and managing approvals of various government agencies. This project involved extension of significant utility infrastructure and intersections as well as establishing deeds of agreement with agencies. In this instance, de Witt Consulting were also involved with sourcing a purchaser for all 62 Lots within the subdivision.
