de Witt Consulting were engaged by WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff to complete detail surveys for embankment stabilisation works over a 1km section of the rail corridor on the Blue Mountains line. Due to the quick turnaround required, de Witt mobilised 4 survey crews during a 2 day weekend shutdown of the Sydney Trains network to ensure the project was completed. The surveys involved surveys of site topography, rail track and infrastructure, overhead wiring, boundary definition along with the preparation of plans and models to Sydney Trains specific standards.
