We are extremely proud of the efforts of our Principal Ecologist, John Paul King, in assisting the Fern Creek Landcare Group to improve the forest habitat for vulnerable squirrel gliders in Dudley. NBN News recently featured these efforts, which involved clearing invasive weeds, planting approximately 1,300 tube stocks of rainforest and squirrel glider habitat trees, trapping and monitoring. So far, 5 individual squirrel gliders and a mating pair have been recorded in the area – a very promising outlook for continued conservation.

If you would like the opportunity to work on projects like this and many more. We would like to hear from you, email your job application to our de Witt Ecology team: [email protected]
